3) I rehearsed a ton this time. I wrote out a script and read it and tried repeated it many times without looking. I also changed some words to help my speech flow better. However, to me, this pitch sounded a little too much like I was reading off of a script so I need to find a balance.

Elevator Pitch No. 3

Collin,
ReplyDeleteI REALLY like your app idea. I did not think you sounded sick or robotic. It seemed to me that the words you spoke came out very fluid. You definitely prepared for this one because it seemed like you knew what you were saying, and you said it with a purpose and conviction, which made me feel confident in your idea.
Overall, well done.

ReplyDeleteCollin,
ReplyDeleteGreat app idea it seems similar to uber but for maids. I'm curious as to what it would take to become a cleaner because I'm sure many people would not trust random strangers cleaning their rooms. I do think this idea can go very far great post check out my blog:http://rtcgator.blogspot.com/2016/03/elevator-pitch-no3.html
Hi Collin,
ReplyDeleteI think this is a great idea for an app, and I applaud you for practicing multiple times. What I did was type out my speech on Word, then open up my webcam, and when I started recording, I switched to the document so I could discreetly read my pitch. This would help with camera shakiness.
Otherwise, great job and here's a link to mine: http://maursfirstblog.blogspot.com/2016/03/elevator-pitch-no-3.html
