My opportunity is a matching service that matches the user with cleaners in the area and the user gets to choose the lowest price option, I call the app Squeaky Clean. Here is the video:
First of all, great opportunity and idea! The name is especially clever, and really funny! Now, for the elevator pitch... I thought you did a great job. You seemed passionate about the whole thing, and really crushed it. Very inspiring to look into the idea. Heres a link to my post if you wanna take a gander: http://robinhannou.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-no1.html
Hi Collin, I think you have a great idea! I was just with a friend last night who was complaining about how messy her apartment is and that she doesn’t have any time to clean. I think this app would work great in a college town and has a lot of potential to grow. You could also have a place for people to rate the cleaning companies in the app so people can look for the cheapest and best ones. You have a great pitch and a catchy and easy to remember name for your business. If you would like to check out my Elevator Pitch you can watch it here: http://www.emmastetterent3003.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-no-1.html
Hi Colin, I really like your idea, its a pretty clever plan! It reminds me a lot of ride-sharing apps like Uber or Lyft, except for cleaners. I'm particularly intrigued by exposing common consumers to price-bidding in a way large companies usually only interact with. I would wonder if there are any legal issues with that though? Its definitely something worth checking out. I've thought about stuff like that in developing my pitch too, which you should check out http://jlopez3003.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-no-1.html Anyways, great job!
